Why are some dive groups equipped with Nitrox divers only?

Selecting Nitrox divers only for certain dive groups primarily centers around the enhancement of safety and the ability to extend bottom times. Nitrox is a breathing gas that contains a higher percentage of oxygen than standard air, which typically comprises about 21% oxygen and 79% nitrogen. When divers utilize Nitrox, they can benefit from a reduced accumulation of nitrogen in their bodies during a dive. This is particularly advantageous because lower nitrogen levels can contribute to a decreased risk of decompression sickness, allowing for safer ascending and decreased intervals before subsequent dives.
